What we do
Nordic Art Intelligence was established to promote and make accessible prominent visual artists’ work from the Nordic region. To this end, the foundation:
Oversees the research, publication and promotion of digital catalogues raisonnés, which will be available free of charge to anyone with internet access.
Provides professional support and advice on digitizing, developing, and promoting existing catalogues raisonnés.
Convenes artistic and/or scientific advisory committees in which third parties contribute specialised knowledge, opinions and support.
Collaborates with museums, universities, archives, art-market professionals and national and international art history associations to promote new research and developments in the field.
Nordic Art Intelligence has been supported until now solely by private donations and run pro-bono by the members of its board.
It welcomes donations from any interested party wishing to help it achieve its goals and aspirations. It regularly applies for funding from other charitable foundations.
